Booking Terms and Conditions

These Booking Terms and Conditions apply to readings, Reiki healings, Belief Coding® sessions, Advanced Belief Coding® programmes, Digital Readings, group sessions, workshops, masterclasses and other services booked through 5Elements.

By making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you have read and accepted our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

Nothing within these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Age Requirement

All services provided through 5Elements are available to adults aged 18 and over only.

By making a booking, you confirm that you and the person receiving the service are aged 18 or over.

We reserve the right to request proof of age and to end or refuse a session if we reasonably believe that the participant is under 18. No refund will ordinarily be provided where a booking was made in breach of this age requirement.

Making a Booking

To book a service, select the booking calendar beneath the profile of your chosen reader or practitioner. You can then choose your preferred service and select an available date and time.

A booking is not confirmed until payment has been processed successfully and you have received a confirmation email from us.

Your confirmation email will contain the details of your booking and, where applicable, the Zoom link for your session.

Please check all booking information carefully and contact us promptly if you believe that any details are incorrect.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless an instalment plan or other arrangement has been expressly agreed.

Payments are processed securely through Square. 5Elements does not store or receive your complete debit or credit card information.

Any personal information received by 5Elements will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Appointment Availability

All appointment times currently available for each reader or practitioner are displayed within their booking calendar.

If a particular date or time does not appear, it is unavailable. Please select one of the published appointments or check the calendar again at a later date.

We cannot guarantee that additional appointments will become available outside the times shown.

Time Zones

The time zone applicable to your appointment will be displayed during the booking process or within your confirmation email.

Unless the booking system expressly displays a different or converted time zone, appointments are scheduled according to UK local time. The United Kingdom observes Greenwich Mean Time during the winter and British Summer Time during the summer.

It is your responsibility to check the time-zone information carefully and attend at the correct corresponding time in your location.

An appointment missed because the client misread or incorrectly converted the time zone will normally be treated as a missed appointment.

Online Sessions

Online readings, Reiki healings and Belief Coding® sessions are delivered through Zoom unless otherwise stated.

You must attend your session from a quiet, safe and private location where you can participate without interruptions or distractions.

Sessions must not be attended while walking around, shopping, travelling, driving or sitting in a public place such as a bar, café, restaurant or busy communal area. This is important to protect your privacy, support the quality of the session and allow the practitioner to work with you effectively.

Before your appointment, you are responsible for ensuring that you have:

A suitable device
A reliable internet connection
Access to Zoom
A working microphone and camera where required
A quiet and private environment
Sufficient uninterrupted time to complete the session

You must not participate while driving or carrying out any activity that requires your attention or could place you or another person at risk.

If your surroundings are too noisy, public, distracting or otherwise unsuitable for the session to be conducted safely and effectively, the practitioner may ask you to move to an appropriate location. If this is not possible, the practitioner may end the session.

Where a session is shortened or ended because the client has attended from an unsuitable environment, the booking will normally be treated as used and no refund or additional session time will be provided.

Your Zoom link is provided for your personal use and must not be shared with anyone else without our prior permission.

Changing, Rescheduling or Cancelling an Appointment

If you need to change, reschedule or cancel an appointment, you must contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Where at least 24 hours’ notice is provided, you may request that the appointment be rescheduled or cancelled, subject to the terms applicable to the service booked.

Requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will not ordinarily qualify for a refund or rescheduling. The full session fee will remain payable because the appointment time was reserved exclusively for you and may not be filled at short notice.

Any exception will be considered at the sole discretion of 5Elements and does not create an obligation to make the same exception in the future.

Packages, programmes, research sessions, group events and promotional bookings may be subject to additional cancellation conditions displayed within the relevant service description or booking page.

Statutory Cancellation Rights

Nothing within our cancellation policy restricts any statutory cancellation right that applies to your booking.

Where you ask us to begin providing a service during any applicable statutory cancellation period, you expressly request that performance begins before that period has expired.

If you cancel after performance has begun, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided. Where a service has been fully performed following your express request and acknowledgment, your statutory right to cancel may be lost.

Some services, digital content and bookings connected to a specific date or period may be subject to different statutory rules or exceptions.

Late Arrival

Please join your appointment at the confirmed start time.

If you arrive late, your session will ordinarily finish at the originally scheduled time. The time lost because of late arrival will be deducted from your appointment and will not be added to the end of the session.

No partial refund will be provided for time lost because the client arrived late.

If the practitioner is late, the client will receive the full duration purchased or another appropriate resolution.

Missed Appointments

If you do not attend your appointment and have not provided at least 24 hours’ notice, the booking will be treated as a missed appointment.

Missed appointments are non-refundable and cannot ordinarily be rescheduled.

If a missed appointment forms part of a package or programme, the relevant session will normally be treated as used.

Technical Problems

Please test your device, internet connection, microphone, camera and Zoom access before your appointment.

If you experience a technical problem, contact us as soon as possible. Where the problem occurs on the client’s side, any time lost may be deducted from the scheduled session.

Where a significant technical problem occurs on the practitioner’s or 5Elements’ side, we will take reasonable steps to provide the remaining time, reschedule the affected part of the session or offer another appropriate resolution.

We will consider the circumstances and available evidence when deciding the most appropriate resolution.

Practitioner Cancellations

On rare occasions, a reader or practitioner may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of illness, emergency or other circumstances outside their reasonable control.

Where this happens, you will be offered a rescheduled appointment, an alternative suitable practitioner where available or a refund for the affected service.

5Elements will not be responsible for additional indirect costs or losses arising from a practitioner cancellation, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Psychic, Intuitive and Mediumship Readings

Psychic, intuitive and mediumship readings are provided for entertainment and personal guidance purposes only.

Readings are subjective and interpretive. No guarantee can be given regarding accuracy, predictions, messages, timings or outcomes.

Readers will not provide medical diagnoses, legal advice, regulated financial advice or other professional advice. They may decline to answer any question that falls outside the appropriate scope of the service.

Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and actions following a reading.

Five-Minute Connection Period

The first five minutes of every live psychic, intuitive or mediumship reading constitute a mutual connection period for both the client and the reader.

If either the client or the reader feels that a suitable connection has not been established, they may end the reading within those first five minutes.

The client may then choose either a full refund or, subject to availability, a reading with another practitioner.

If both the client and the reader choose to continue beyond the first five minutes, the connection will be treated as having been accepted.

A refund will not ordinarily be provided retrospectively solely because the client is dissatisfied with the connection, content, interpretation, prediction or outcome of the reading.

The five-minute connection period applies only to live psychic, intuitive and mediumship readings. It does not apply to Digital Readings, Reiki, Belief Coding®, Advanced Belief Coding®, group sessions, workshops or masterclasses unless expressly stated otherwise.

Usui Reiki

Reiki is a complementary wellbeing practice and is not a medical treatment.

Individual experiences vary, and no particular physical, emotional or other outcome can be promised or guaranteed.

Reiki must not be used as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Clients must not stop or alter prescribed medication or delay seeking appropriate medical care because of a Reiki session.

Belief Coding®

Belief Coding® and Advanced Belief Coding® are complementary personal-development and wellbeing modalities.

They are not psychotherapy, counselling, medical treatment or mental-health treatment. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or mental-health condition.

Clients must not stop or alter prescribed medication, disregard professional advice or delay seeking appropriate medical or mental-health support because of anything discussed or experienced during a session.

The client is responsible for deciding whether the service is suitable for them and for providing relevant information honestly where requested.

Individual experiences and results vary. No particular outcome or transformation can be promised or guaranteed.

Advanced Belief Coding® Programmes

Advanced Belief Coding® is delivered as a structured programme of three individual sessions unless the service description expressly states otherwise.

Because each session builds upon the previous work, clients are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and allow the agreed period for integration and review.

Cancellation, rescheduling and refund arrangements for an Advanced Belief Coding® programme may differ from those applying to a single appointment. Any additional programme terms will be displayed before purchase or supplied to the client before the programme begins.

During certain parts of the programme, Otter.ai may be used for the limited purpose of capturing and compiling the positive and negative beliefs identified. Further information is provided before the programme begins and within our Privacy Policy.

Digital Readings

A Digital Reading is a personalised service provided in response to the question or questions submitted by the client.

Digital Readings do not take place as live appointments and are not covered by the five-minute connection period.

Clients are responsible for submitting their questions clearly and checking that all information provided is accurate. Once the reader has begun preparing the reading, questions cannot ordinarily be changed or replaced.

Completed Digital Readings are normally delivered within 48 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Any applicable cancellation rights and the point at which work begins will be explained during the booking process. No particular interpretation, prediction or outcome can be guaranteed.

Group Sessions, Workshops and Masterclasses

Additional terms may apply to group sessions, workshops, masterclasses and training events. These will be displayed within the relevant service description or booking page.

Certain group services may be recorded by 5Elements. Where recording is intended, attendees will be informed before the session.

Participants must behave respectfully and must not share another participant’s personal information, experiences or contributions outside the group.

Confidentiality and Recordings

Private readings, Reiki sessions and individual Belief Coding® sessions are not routinely recorded by 5Elements, except for the limited use of Otter.ai during certain Advanced Belief Coding® sessions.

Clients must not record, photograph, screenshot, live stream or create a transcript of any private session without the prior written permission of both 5Elements and the practitioner.

Clients and attendees must not record any group service without prior written permission from 5Elements and any identifiable participants.

Information shared during a private session will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious and immediate safeguarding concern.

Client Conduct

Clients must communicate and behave respectfully towards readers, practitioners, staff and other participants.

We reserve the right to refuse or immediately end a service where a client:

Behaves in an abusive, threatening, discriminatory or sexually inappropriate manner
Harasses or intimidates a practitioner or participant
Appears severely intoxicated or unable to participate safely
Attempts to record a session without permission
Seeks a service for an unlawful or inappropriate purpose
Repeatedly disregards reasonable professional boundaries or instructions

Where a session is ended because of the client’s conduct, no refund will ordinarily be provided.

We may refuse future bookings where reasonably necessary to protect our practitioners, staff, clients or business.

Intellectual Property

All session materials, recordings, handouts, exercises, course content and other resources supplied by 5Elements or its practitioners remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

They are provided for the client’s personal use only and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, taught, uploaded, published or shared without prior written permission.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with a service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details of your concern.

We will review the matter fairly and may discuss it with the practitioner involved. As private sessions are not routinely recorded, complaints will be assessed using the information and supporting evidence reasonably available.

Dissatisfaction with the content of a reading, or the fact that a prediction or anticipated outcome did not occur, will not by itself establish that the service was delivered improperly or create an automatic right to a refund.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The terms applying to your booking will normally be those published or provided when the booking was made. Any material change affecting an existing booking will be communicated where reasonably necessary.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing within this section prevents a consumer who lives elsewhere in the United Kingdom from relying on any mandatory consumer protection available to them under the law applicable to their location.
